This is the kind of idiot who enters a room without proof of his position and asks a scientist the “But are you sure” question. I enter with Hitchens’ “That which can be asserted without proof, can be dismissed without proof ” quote. The burden is on the believer because he is the one arguing a non-defensable subject!
Don’t you love how they attempt to shift the burned of proof–sophistry of the highest order. This is how bad it gets–I once had a woman argue with me, after I pointed out that science is demonstrable–that science needs evidence and isn’t wholly demonstrable…*blink, blink* what…the…fuck!
I have encountered this idiocy so many times. How people can be so deluded is sometimes beyond me.

Not quite sure what you mean by that. When I say demonstrative, I mean 1 + 1 = 2. Mix two chemicals you, get X result. Employ aerodynamics and a plane takes off….
